When Miss Man-Eater…
Raquel Adams is in desperate need of a media makeover. Her already floundering reputation is made worse by her recent antics, and she doesn’t seem to care. Raquel lives life on her own terms and doesn’t answer to anyone, least of all Clayton Cox, the guy charged with making her a media darling. His take charge attitude is a problem for strong-willed Raquel, but she can’t deny the attraction she feels toward him.
Meets America’s spin doctor…
Clayton Cox is the boss, and damn good at his job. He’s hired to improve your reputation and does so by swooping in, saving the day, and moving onto the next one. But he can’t move one from his newest client. Raquel is maddening, and gorgeous enough to make him forget his rule of never getting involved with a client. But Clayton can’t forget what happened the last time he mixed business with pleasure.
All’s fair in love and war.
Raquel wants Clayton, and nothing is going to stand in her way, not even Clayton himself. He doesn’t know what hit him, and soon finds himself juggling between having to improve her reputation and feign off her advances. But Clayton’s determined to show Raquel who’s in charge at any cost, even if that means thwarting her seduction efforts. Will Miss Man-Eater change or ways? Or will Clayton become the latest victim entangled in her web?

“What about us?” He feigned ignorance.
“Well, what the hell was that when we first came in here? Because at first you barely acknowledged me, and then poof, my nipple’s in your mouth
He let go of her hand, rubbing it down his face. “Yeah, about that…”
“Don’t you dare apologize!” she squealed, poking him with her finger, sounding like a shrew.
He grabbed her finger. “I wasn’t going to apologize. I was going to tell you I don’t know what that was. It was like I couldn’t be around you all night without touching you.”
The grin spread slowly, giddy excitement spreading throughout her. “Seriously?”
He sat up and faced her so they were eye to eye. “I’ve never been more serious.”
Raquel wanted to believe him, to attack him until he couldn’t see straight, but there were too many doubts that continued to swirl through her head while she tried to process everything he’d said. “What about your rule ’no dating clients’ rule?”
He swallowed hard. “Let’s just say I’m going to have to trust you’re not playing me for a fool.”
“I’m not.” She held up two fingers. “Scout’s honor.”
He grabbed her hand, pulling her against him. He leaned down, kissing her lightly. “You were never a scout.”
She put her hand on his face. “Hell, no, but you like me a little bad.”

Deleted Scene . . .
“We can’t have alcohol,” Ainsley rubbed her stomach, the pregnancy evident. Raquel got excited every time she thought of her niece or nephew, and couldn’t wait to spoil the baby.
Brea grabbed some juice, using that in place of the tequila Clare and Raquel would be drinking.
“Fine,” Ainsley waved her off. “Who’s going first?”
“You,” Raquel quipped, “Since you’re so eager to get the game going.”
Ainsley rolled her eyes, but gestured toward the shot glasses so they would fill them.
“Okay, we each get a question, and you can only take one shot.”
“I’ll go first,” Clare volunteered. “Have you and Spencer done anything sexually?”
“No,” Ainsley bit her lip nervously, sensing where the questions were heading.”
“Do you want to get together with Spencer?” Brea asked. Ainsley didn’t answer, she simply drowned the shot of apple juice like the hardcore drinker she was.
“Now we’re getting somewhere,” Raquel rubbed her hands together, going in for the kill. “Are you in love with Spencer?”
“Yes,” she nodded, giving nothing else away.
