Entice is most definitely about two lost souls. River is a sweet young woman who wants a connection with her birth mother and yet she is bitterly disappointed with her flaky parent. Grayson fears relationships because of the loss he has suffered throughout his life. His isolation is a coping mechanism and it’s sad to see. The two of them are drawn to each other but there are complications. Namely River’s father. His friendship with Grayson and River’s youth makes their relationship a bit more on the taboo side. Of course, while Grayson battles with these obstacles, the two of them secretly see each other. But it isn't just physical. Both of them have more in common than they realised including their fears.

The story is focused on not letting fears drive a person’s life. Fears prevent people from experiencing all that life has to offer. Both River and Grayson have been living half a life because of their past experiences. But maybe together they can move past this and see the world in a different view. It was a good story with heartfelt messages and tackled sensitive issues with finesse.
