He was on a collision course.
… I had paved my way
He answered to no one.
… I respected authority
He wanted me.
… I despised him
He didn’t take no for an answer.
... NO!
When freelance photographer, Corinne Lee, is required to visually document the nationwide tour of Wild Nights Male Revue, she finds herself in a world of near-naked, testosterone-fuelled men on stage—not her photographic muse of choice. She also finds herself in the arms of Josh, the revue’s star performer.
Josh Adams thrives on the limelight, the stage and, most of all, the attention of women who endlessly throw themselves at him. He dances sex, speaks sex, breathes sex … is sex! Josh lives for sex, but never with the same woman.
When both opinionated and headstrong characters are closely thrust together in a lust-ridden and sexually-charged environment, which of the two will break first?
Will Josh realise that Corinne could be the exception to his ‘no strings’ rule? Or will Corinne let go of the fantasy of finding Mr One and Only?
We have Cori, a beautiful photographer asked to follow a group of strippers (yes that's right, male hotties taking their clothes off) and take photos. And then there is Josh. Basically the star of the show and not surprising really. He is hot. But so arrogant... and a bit of an ass ;) lol.
Cori does not take an immediate liking to him:
I let out my breath. "What an arsehole!"
"Yeah," the blonde sighed, her voice sounding dreamy and sated. "But he f**** like a god. You totally should've taken him up on his offer."
Well, that's an interesting introduction to Josh ;) The two of them are immediately at each other's throats and it pretty much stays that way. Cori is constantly frustrated by Josh and frustrated at herself because she is definitely turned on by him. So the best way to tackle that is to snipe at each other.
"Why do you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Avoid conversation by being a sexist pig."
"I'm not."
"Yes, you are!"
It isn't an easy path but nothing in life that is worthwhile is really. There is a great deal of pain felt by both Cori and Josh. Do they make it work? Can they get past their walls? Well, you'll have to read to find out won't you?
I always enjoy KM's writing. There is always fun, laughter, tension and of course naughtiness ;) And she has some great characters. I loved Em and Brad. Hopefully we get to see them some more. But there are also some amazing quotes in KM's writing. My favourite has to be this: Love is the most terrifying form of trust. And it is true. You are giving up control and power to someone else who has the potential to break you and change you. It is the greatest leap you can take with a person.
You are in for a wickedly good time and it all starts immediately from page 1! So go now and one-click!
