Life at the top isn't all glitz and glamour.
Brooke Kincaid's life takes a turn for the better when she's asked to join a country band. In a single moment, her struggle to care for her younger siblings is a thing of the past.
Fame and fortune have a price. Brooke embraces the realization of her dreams only to have happiness ripped away in one act of brutal violence. Starting again takes courage but love has a way of finding its way home.
Start reading Yes to Everything right now! Jump on the roller coaster and hang on...the ride can get a little bumpy. Another hot, emotional read from Always the Good Girl, Shayne McClendon.
Note from author: This book recently went through a hard core edit. If you read it when I first released it and hated it, I hope you'll message me with a link to your review so I can send you an updated ARC. It was brutal to write and it took me a year to go back and edit it. I was that broken. I might not be able to change your mind...you might still hate it. Maybe you'll find what I love about it. Stranger things have happened.
I loved each and every one of the songs used and named in the book. If you listen to the playlist while you read, you'd cry ever harder. The depth to each and every character is amazing. They were all very well developed, each with their own unique personality, charm and story that allows you to fall for them completely.
I love Brooke and her strong, humble, kind and generous soul. I adore Sidney for all her crazy, hyper, sexy and sass. I love Jeanette because she was relatable in a way. I related to her feeling "outside" of other people's lives and her social awkwardness. I adore Mack because he saw what nobody else saw in Jeannette. Boyd and Zane compliments Sidney's crazy. Logan and Decklan, despite all their shit I couldn't hate them but I couldn't really love them either.
The flow is just nice. There is a good balance of steam, alpha males, romance, humor, rock star glam and tears. And despite being a rather long book, I have no complains. I didn't want the journey to end. I loved loved loved reading it.
What Hurts The Most came to mind when I thought about Brooke and Rex
My favourite songs from the playlist would definitely be Alicia Key's If I ain't got you, Carrie Underwood's Just a Dream and Bonnie Raitt's Something To Talk About.
