Dear Sir, I'm Yours is a sweet contemporary romance for me.
I would have prefer it to be sold as a straight m-f romance instead.
There is really not much erotica in this.
I've read much more erotic, steamy and hot bdsm romance.

This professor's final exam includes a spanking.
There's no house restoration too challenging for Rae Jackson, a.k.a. "The Fix-It Lady." There's no fixing the past, though. Like the day she left college. A semester of flirting with her English professor ended when he spanked her to the best orgasm of her life. Afraid of her own eager willingness to comply with the sexy dom's commands--no matter what--she fled.
Yet not even five years can dim her memory of his masterful touch.
Conn never forgot the one student who gave him a big fat "F" on the greatest test of his life. After all these years, he's still haunted by his uncharacteristic loss of control. When he finds the very object of his shame--and desire--crawling around under his grandmother's house, he swears to do anything to win Rae's trust.
Rae finds herself helpless against Conn's slow seduction. Exactly the way she likes it. Instead of poetry, this time she learns the erotic pleasure to be found in bondage...and submission to the sexiest professor alive.
I felt that Rae was too...timid and flighty for my liking. She wasn't willing to trust and her hot cold behavior got irritating after a while. Girl, make up your mind. You either want him or you don't. You don't flee after you get spooked every single time!
I did enjoy Conn quite a bit. He is definitely sexy ;) The poem citing got boring after a while though. I definitely like how he reacted when he met Rae again. Totally just cracked me up!
The sudden intensity of his voice rocked her with panic.
She scrambled deeper beneath the porch. He caught her foot, his powerful hands shackling her leg. She kicked back with her other foot, catching him solidly with her boot. Hopefully in the head.
He grunted but didn't let go. Weight trapped her lower body, his arms snaking around her legs, hauling her back. She grabbed at the footing, missed, dug in the soft soil for a root, anything to slow him.
Miss Belle shrieked. If she's carried a parasol, the old lady would be beating him over the head with it. "What are you doing? Let go of her this minute, Verrill Connagher! Don't you know how to treat a lady?"
Grappled inch by inch backwards into the open, Rae wanted to die.
He flipped her over, his hands locked on her waist. One more tug and -
"Rae!"
What I didn't like was the "bdsm" aspect of it, it wasn't carried out properly. Conn is definitely no dom, an alpha male maybe, but he ain't a dom. THIS BOOK DOES NOT SHOW ANY ASPECT OF BDSM LIFESTYLE AT ALL!!! So many aspects of bdsm was just thrown aside. Don't get me started on it. Urg. Their relationship seemed to be more of a vanilla romance with a kink of spanking and light bondage. The erotica wasn't that much nor was it very steamy or kinky. I'd love it if it had started with that "hot" spanking scene that had caused her to run.
