Hunter Mitchell is a caveman.
He’s bossy.
He’s demanding.
He always gets his way. He’s the number one ruckman in the AFL. He’s good in bed. No! Scratch that.
He’s a god in bed and he knows it.
And he’s a great mate.
But that’s all we are. Friends with benefits. Which suits me fine.
I don’t have time or energy for anything more.
Until something unexpected happens to change the game.
Now we have to figure out, is it possible for us to be something more.
Excerpt . . .
“A bit of an understatement, I’d say.”
“Yeah well. Someone told me that the best part about fighting was the makeup sex.”
“Oh.”
“Yeah. But we don’t do that.”
“No, we don’t.” Although right now I was second guessing why the hell not. He was fucking adorable when he was nervous, and it wasn’t a side of him I saw very often.
“But I didn’t think you should miss out, so…yeah. Batteries.”
It took a second but then it hit me like a freight train. “You bought me batteries for my vibrator?”
I laughed.
I laughed so hard I snorted. And possibly peed a little bit.
“It was dumb…”
“It’s fucking genius.”
